Ben Wilson
Electric Lawn Co-Owner
Ben feel in love with Victoria while he was attending university in the 1990s. In 2022, Ben fulfilled his dream of returning, this time as a resident. Formerly a Northern BC local, Ben owned and operated a logging company. Witnessing the environmental toll, along with escalating fuel costs due to climate change-induced wildfires, he couldn’t reconcile his work any longer.
In 2023, Ben was thrilled for the opportunity to partner with Hayden to help fuel Electric Lawn’s success.
Now, he’s thrilled to be part of an all-electric business he feels good about while working to enhance Greater Victoria’s gorgeous yards and gardens sustainably.
Ben loves working outdoors and he’s passionate about engaging with his clients and employees.

Hayden Arbour
Electric Lawn Founder & Co-Owner
Born and raised in Campbell River on Vancouver Island, Hayden discovered his entrepreneurial spirit in high school with a small lawn mowing business. This modest business ignited his passion.
After spending 5 years working in the oilfields of Alberta and 3 years in the logging industry in BC, Hayden completed an Engineering degree. During his studies, Hayden became increasingly aware of the pressing need for sustainable solutions.
Upon returning to Victoria, Hayden identified a need for green alternatives to traditional lawn care and property maintenance services. Combining his education and work experience with a solid foundation of work ethic and drive; Electric Lawn was born.
Electric Lawn isn’t just a business; it’s a reflection of Hayden’s life journey and core values.
