Ben Wilson
Electric Lawn Co-Owner
Ben fell in love with Victoria while attending university in the 1990s. In 2022, he fulfilled his dream of returning, this time as a resident. Formerly a Northern BC local, Ben owned and operated a logging company. Witnessing the environmental toll, along with escalating fuel costs due to climate change-induced wildfires, he could no longer justify his work.
In 2023, Ben was thrilled by the opportunity to partner with Hayden to help fuel Electric Lawn’s success.
Now, he’s proud to be part of an all-electric business he feels good about while enhancing Greater Victoria’s gorgeous yards and gardens sustainably.
Ben loves working outdoors and is passionate about engaging with both his clients and employees.

Hayden Arbour
Electric Lawn Founder & Co-Owner
Born and raised in Campbell River on Vancouver Island, Hayden discovered his entrepreneurial spirit early on, launching a small lawn mowing business in high school. That modest venture sparked a lasting passion.
After spending five years working in Alberta’s oilfields and three more in BC’s logging industry, Hayden pursued and completed an Engineering degree. During his studies, he grew increasingly aware of the urgent need for sustainable solutions.
Upon returning to Victoria, he recognized a need for eco-friendly alternatives to traditional lawn care and property maintenance. Combining his education, hands-on industry experience, and a strong foundation of work ethic and determination, Electric Lawn was born.
Electric Lawn isn’t just a business; it’s a reflection of Hayden’s life journey and core values.
